TRAIN TO ROCKLAND (for Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Any Tracks and Trains) A train plying the Maine Eastern Railroad that we took four summer’s ago to see the scenery in Down East Maine. I wish I can write more about the trip but all I remember was minding my little child who was getting bored with the longish trip. I did manage to look out of the window when it was my husband’s turn to babysit and saw lakes and rivers cutting through land, swamps and dead trees, woodlands, lush wild vegetation, fishermen busy on the coast.
